Uuringus selgus, milline on Eesti meeste tervis
Haigekassa ja Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum koostöös läbiviivud uuringust tuli välja, et Eesti meeste tervis ei ole hea.
Haigekassa ja Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum viisid koostöös 2020. aastal läbi 40–49-aastaste meeste terviseuuringu, milles osales üle 3300 mehe.
Meestele mõeldud tervisekontroll keskendus südame-veresoonkonna, eesnäärme, seksuaaltervise- ja vaimse tervise riskide väljaselgitamisele. Kuna uuringu kulud maksis haigekassa, oli osalemine uuringuprogrammis meestele tasuta.
Selles osalemiseks tuli meestel täita uuringu nõusolekuleht ja elektrooniline terviseankeet, millele järgnesid vereanalüüsid, vererõhu mõõtmine ja kehaehituse aparaatanalüüs. Kogutud andmete põhjal analüüsiti mehe terviseseisundit ja terviseriske ning vajadusel suunati ravile.
Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi meestekliiniku juht professor Margus Punab rääkis, et enne uuringut eeldati, et olulisi mehespetsiifilisi terviseprobleeme ja -riske leiame umbes 20 protsendil uuritavatest ja üldtervise riske samuti 20 protsendil.
«Kui esimese osas vastasid ootused tegelikkusele, siis üldtervise riske tuvastasime oodatust palju enamatel meestel. Kogutud andmehulk on suur ja nende analüüs on alles alanud. Tuvastatud probleemide põhjustest ja võimalikest meetmetest nende ennetamiseks saame rääkida loodetavasti juba selle aasta lõpus,» lisas professor Punab.
Haigekassa juhatuse liige Maivi Parv ütles, et projekt sai inspiratsiooni kodanikualgatuse korras korraldatud «Pikema Sõpruse Päeva» kampaaniast, mis pööras tähelepanu just mehe tervisele.
Koostöös Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi meestekliinikuga töötati välja tervisekontrollipakkett, mille eest tasus haigekassa. «Meestele ei ole seni olnud nii põhjalikku haigekassa rahastatud terviseuuringut. Nüüd on uuringu esimene osa meestekliiniku poolt läbi viidud ja edasi analüüsib saadud tulemusi Tervise Arengu Instituut, kelle poolt koostatakse Eesti meeste tervise raport. Juunis valmiva raporti põhjal saame otsustada, kuidas meeste tervisesse tulevikus panustada,» rääkis Parv.
Ta lisas, et tulemuse põhjal on võimalik mitmesugune lähenemine, näiteks spetsiaalselt meestele mõeldud sõeluuringu loomine, meestele enam sobivama arstile pöördumise võimaluse loomine. «Eesti mehed elavad vähem aega tervena kui naised ning samuti elavad nad üldiselt lühemat aega. Meie esialgne eesmärk oleks vähemalt see, et mehed elaksid tervena naistega sama kaua,» avaldas Parv.
Haigekassa investeeris projekti ennetustegevuseks mõeldud eelarvest rohkem kui 246 000 euro.
Haigekassa ja Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi meeste tervise uuringu pilootprojekt:
- Vatu võeti 3386 ravikindlustatud meest vanuses 40–49, kes polnud vastuvõtule eelnenud viimase aasta jooksul läbinud põhjalikumaid uuringuid. Projekti sisenemiseks ei olnud vaja ei saatekirja ega visiiditasu. Vastuvõtud on tänaseks läbi viidud.
- Haigekassa koostööpartner on Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi meestekliinik professor Margus Punabi juhtimisel.
- Teenuseid osutati Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikumi meestekliiniku kõikides keskustes: Tartus, Tallinnas, Pärnus, Narvas ja mobiilses kabinetis. Mobiilse kabinetiga tagati teenuse osutamine väiksemates kohtades ja töökollektiivides.
- Projekti tulemusena selgub, millised on ravikindlustuse võimalused tegeleda meeste tervisega ennetavalt, hinnates 40–49-aastaste meeste terviseseisundit.
