You prescribed me Ozempik. So far I have done four doses of 0.25 and one dose of 0.5. Currently thete is no Ozempik in pharmacies. My question is if I don't find the medicine can I stop it? If yes, when the drug is available in pharmacies, can I start it again and at what dose?

Dear patient,
If Ozempic is not available in pharamcies, you have no choice but to stop it. I think you can do so without any problematic side effects. If the drug will be available, you can start it again but still at the lowest dose 0,25mg once a week. There is also oral semaglutide available in pharmacies (brand name Rybelsus) but it is not as effective as Ozempic for loosing weight but can be effectively used in treating diabetes.
