Eile jõudis Eestisse teine Covid-19 vaktsiini saadetis 9750 vaktsiinidoosiga. «Kas süstida ära pooled ja mõne nädala pärast samadele inimestele teine pool või hoopis süstida 10 000 doosi 10 000 inimesele ja hiljem, kui valikut juba rohkem ja vaktsiinid enam defitsiit pole, teha teised doosid rahulikult ära,» mõtiskles Rospu. «Vähemalt mRNA-põhised vaktsiinid annavad küll juba pärast esimest vaktsiinidoosi suht normaalse kaitse, teine doos on immuunsuse tõhustamiseks,» selgitas perearst.
«Ma pole lõpuni kindel, et ühe doosiga laiema võrgu viskamine on hea mõte, aga tundub, et seda võimalust võiks kaaluda,» lisas ta lõpetuseks.
